Inclusivity
Everyone deserves to feel welcome in a movement space.
Opening soon — Bronte Village, Oakville
Bronte Pilates is a boutique movement and wellness studio being built in the heart of Bronte Village. Our goal is simple: to help people build a stronger relationship with movement — and with themselves.
Pilates has been part of our founder's life for more than a decade.
Her relationship with movement became much deeper after experiencing a shoulder injury. What began as a challenging experience became an opportunity to better understand her body, how it moved, where it needed support, and how intentional movement could complement the recovery process alongside appropriate clinical care.
That experience changed the way she thought about Pilates. It wasn't simply a workout anymore. It became a way to build strength, improve awareness, move with more intention, and develop a deeper connection with the body. That journey eventually led her to become a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor.
Bronte Pilates was born from that experience. The vision was to create a studio that felt different from a traditional fitness environment — a place where people could walk in without feeling intimidated, where instructors know their clients, where beginners feel comfortable, and where experienced clients can continue to challenge themselves.
A place where you don't have to look a certain way, move a certain way, or already know how to do Pilates to belong.
You don't need to be flexible. You don't need to be strong. You don't need to have done Pilates before. You just need to be willing to move.
Everyone deserves to feel welcome in a movement space.
Progress doesn't come from perfection. It comes from showing up consistently.
Movement should be something you look forward to — not something you force yourself to do.
We focus on quality, control, awareness and understanding your body rather than simply moving through exercises.
We want our clients to know each other, know their instructors, and feel like they belong.
Every Bronte Pilates class has a purpose — learn the fundamentals, build strength, move more fluidly, or simply enjoy a full-body workout.
Build your foundation.
Your introduction to the principles and techniques that make Pilates so effective. We focus on alignment, breathing, core connection, control, footwork, and learning how to move confidently on the Reformer. An excellent starting point for beginners — and experienced clients can also benefit from returning to the fundamentals to refine their technique.

Your full-body Reformer workout.
Bronte Pilates' signature full-body Reformer class. Expect a balanced combination of strength, stability, mobility, coordination and endurance. Every class is thoughtfully programmed to challenge the entire body while giving you room to work at your own level.
Come ready to move. Leave feeling stronger.
Stronger core. Stronger glutes. Stronger you.
Our strength-focused Reformer class, with additional emphasis on the core and glutes. Expect controlled sequences, challenging resistance and plenty of time under tension. Designed for clients who love that satisfying feeling of knowing they worked hard.
Challenge yourself. Control the movement.
Move with intention. Move with ease.
Flow brings a more fluid quality to your practice. Rather than focusing purely on strength, it combines mobility, flexibility, coordination, breath and controlled transitions — sequences that connect one movement to the next and leave you feeling energized, open and connected.
Sometimes strong feels like flow.
Pilates for you, with your little one welcome.
Space for parents and caregivers to move without having to arrange childcare — bring your little one along. And you don't need to have a baby to attend: these are regular all-level classes where babies and young children are welcome. Because they're designed to accommodate little ones, the studio environment may feel a little different from our regular classes.
A little more room for real life.
More ways to move.
Tower Pilates introduces another dimension to your practice through spring-based resistance and support, allowing us to explore movements that aren't possible on the Reformer alone. Tower exercises may also be incorporated into selected classes; dedicated Tower classes will be listed on the schedule.
